About this event
Raised By Owls are not a band you stumble across and feel nothing about. The Derby outfit play death metal and grindcore with a satirical streak — rural England, misspent youths, the full absurdity of British life rendered at speed. They headlined the first-ever sold-out Big Bang in 2025, and they are back to headline again.
The Big Bang VIII is a two-day camping weekend at the Ogri MCC Clubhouse on Kemble Enterprise Park, the old airfield outside Cirencester. Primordial Radio organises it, Ogri MCC hosts it, and the format is simple: Friday is the warm-up with DJs and bonfires, Saturday is live music. In support of Raised By Owls: Waterlines (rising UK metallers and PRfam favourites), and Metal 2 The Masses winners Bad Earth and Moon Reaper. The whole thing is sold out, but it is worth knowing this event exists, that it returns every year, and that tickets go fast.
Cash only on site for food, drink and merch. No glass. No drones (active airfield). Camping includes a field, toilet blocks and drinking water. Nearest cashpoints are in Cirencester or Tetbury. Tickets via SeeTickets — sold out for 2026, but keep an eye on primordialradio.com for future events.
