About this event
The Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment opens Cirencester History Festival with a candlelit programme devoted to the Bach family. The music moves from Johann Sebastian Bach's high Baroque style towards the Classical age through Johann Ludwig, Johann Christoph Friedrich and Johann Christian Bach.
The concert takes place in the Parish Church of St John Baptist, Cirencester's historic wool church. It is sold out, but a waiting list is available; the festival says it may try to add another performance if enough interest builds, although no second show is confirmed.
Level access is through the North Door and accessible toilets are available inside. Nearby car parks are listed on the festival page.
Ticketed. Sold out; waiting list available.
