About this event
Between the Acts bring Irish and English folk music to Tetbury Goods Shed for an afternoon that moves between quick tunes, slower pieces and folk songs. The four-piece group uses piano, guitars, oboe, congas, bodhrán and violin, with songs associated with Bob Dylan, Richard Thompson, Lucinda Williams and Patsy Cline in the mix.
They also play as a ceilidh band, and their own website describes them as a country dance band. The Goods Shed listing also mentions their suite of tunes about the journey to Santiago de Compostela, recorded on a CD called Hours.
The Whistle Stop Café will be open for tea, coffee and Sasha's cakes, with tables and chairs laid out in the hall. The venue says up to 10 disabled seats can be set on the floor for each event, and asks visitors with additional access requirements to contact the office before visiting.
Ticketed. Book through the organiser's event page.
