About this event
Phil Hambling and David John Lloyd return to the Goods Shed with the kind of easy rapport that comes from years of playing together — expect pop, rock, blues, jazz, soul and country woven seamlessly across the afternoon. Their Van Morrison tribute alone is reason enough to book, but what really sets them apart is the musicianship: two seasoned players who know how to read a room and deliver exactly what their audience wants to hear.
This is the sort of gig that fills with regulars and newcomers alike, all settling in with tea from Sasha's café (her cakes are genuinely worth the trip) and choosing their own spot in the hall. The Goods Shed does this format brilliantly — informal, sociable, no pretence. Hambling's vocals and Lloyd's guitar work have earned them respect far beyond the Cotswolds, and you'll hear why within minutes.
Tickets are £3.50 in advance, £4 on the door. Doors open at 1:30pm, music starts at 2pm.
