About this event

Dancing Queen, Daytime Edition

ABBA's catalogue has powered a thousand tribute shows, but Daytime Disco Events does something slightly different: they put the party in the afternoon, in a nightclub, with DJs rather than a band onstage and a crowd that has come specifically to lose their minds on a Saturday before the evening has even started.

The format at ReVA runs 3pm to 8pm — wall-to-wall ABBA anthems from Dancing Queen to Gimme Gimme Gimme, interspersed with disco-era floor-fillers and 70s funk. The crowd tends to dress for it: tinsel wigs, sequins, all the expected kit. ReVA's two dance floors and sound system suit this kind of event well enough that the venue has hosted ABBA-themed nights before.
