Daytime Disco runs these afternoon sessions across the UK, and they tend to sell fast — the Cirencester date has already moved through three ticket tiers. The format is straightforward: a five-hour disco at ReVA Nightclub with a playlist built entirely from 80s material, no support acts, no interval, just the music. Last entry is 5pm, so the afternoon slot is taken seriously.

The set list pulls from across the decade — Duran Duran, Depeche Mode, New Order and The Cure sit alongside Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston and Tina Turner. It covers the synth-pop and the post-punk and the pop-soul without much compromise. The event is 18+ and tickets are non-refundable, though they can be passed on as no names are used at the door.
