About

Leaf and Ground

Leaf and Ground sits on the edge of Stinchcombe Hill in the Cam area just outside Dursley, combining a cafe, deli, garden shop and walled outdoor space across a 20-acre site. The cafe runs a deli-style weekday menu of freshly made quiche, frittata, scotch eggs, falafel and salads alongside a weekend breakfast service, and a separate Hut in the walled gardens dishes up takeaway barista coffee, cakes, sausage rolls and ice cream.

The setting offers far-reaching views across the Severn valley towards the Malverns and the Welsh hills, and the site connects directly to Stinchcombe Hill walks.

The whole place is dog-friendly outside the deli, family-oriented with a castle playground for children, and well used by walkers coming off Stinchcombe Hill. Coffee is consistently well rated, and the sausage rolls have developed something of a local following.

The weekday deli menu runs at a fixed price and tends to sell out by early afternoon, so arriving before 1pm is wise.
